Hey, kid. Look at me and listen. DON’T MIND THE KATANAS BEHIND MY BACK, THEY’RE JUST FOR SHOW. I’ll try my best to explain the situation to you. I’ll teach you an important piece of advice, something I may not be able to do for you in the days to come. SO LISTEN UP, AND LISTEN WELL. A few days ago, somebody over the Internet found one of your videos and posted it over an online message board. People got really interested and found your enthusiasm, your passion for dinosaurs, and your personality amazing. So they subbed. THOUSANDS in fact! But kid, not all of those thousands of Internet sheep are gonna help you. Probably just a few hundred, at most, IF WE’RE LUCKY. Most of them just clicked “Subscribe” for kicks, or to just lurk around and get updated with the videos you post. The reality of the situation is... they’re not gonna hold your hand and guide you in every step you take, and believe it or not, if you aren’t careful, this very Internet will ruin your life. The Internet is so powerful that it can make you famous AND ruin you snap JUST LIKE THAT! Don’t fall into that trap, kid. You have a LOT of untapped potential, and I see you becoming a dinosaur expert when you grow up. If you keep on doing what you do out there in the real world, and strive to follow your dream, DO WELL IN SCHOOL (I CANNOT STRESS THIS HARD ENOUGH) YOU. WILL. BE. AWESOME. Don’t let the Internet control your life, okay? Don’t let the Internet push you around. DO NOT PUT TOO MUCH TRUST ON THE INTERNET. Some people found that out the hard way, and they are NOT in good places. Oh, and one more thing: ask your parent and/or guardian for advice on how to activate video monetization here on YouTube. As some people have already mentioned, your videos can be a good source of income for you at the moment. In short, you can make money out of YouTube videos! Ask your parents, teachers, or other adults you trust! That’s it kid! HAVE FUN, AND BE AWESOME! Your pal, DEADPOOL
